Leek Sauce

Ingredients

  • 50 g Leek
  • 20 g Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 100 ml Cream 33%
  • 20 g Butter
  • to taste Salt and ground pepper

Instructions

    Thoroughly wash the leek and slice into 1 cm rounds.

    Season the prepared leek pieces with salt and pepper.

    Saute the leek in butter with honey until caramelized.
  4. 4
    Pour cream over the caramelized onion and reduce heat.
  5. 5
    Grate the ginger, squeeze the juice through cloth or cheesecloth.

    Add the ginger juice to the leek and cream.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
