Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 75 g Cucumber
  • 300 g Greek yogurt
  • 3 pc Garlic cloves
  • 40 ml Olive oil
  • 15 ml White wine vinegar
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black ground pepper
  • 20 g Dill, sprig

Instructions

    Peel the cucumber, grate the flesh on a coarse grater, lightly salt and set aside for 20 minutes.

    Then squeeze the cucumber well to remove water.

    Mince the garlic and dill.

    In a deep bowl, mix yogurt, cucumber, garlic, some dill, olive oil, and vinegar.

    Season with salt and pepper, mix well.

    Refrigerate the sauce for a few hours, preferably overnight.

    Before serving, sprinkle with remaining dill, drizzle with oil, and add pepper.
